The Beachhouse Restaurant

I can NOT say enough positive things about The Beachhouse Restaurant. Shawn and Jamie were above and beyond in helping me plan our wedding from out of state. We booked this venue without seeing it. When we saw it for the first time, we knew it would be perfect. They were well within our budget and did not charge more for all the little extras. Jamie ensured the day ran smooth (which it did - perfectly!). Our guests raved the entire night that it was one of the best, if not the best, wedding they had ever been to. We thoroughly enjoyed our day and would recommend The Beachhouse Restaurant to any Bride and Groom!

Shawn Rhoton and Jamie Berfield, respectively the Special Events Coordinator and the Assistant Special Events Coordinator for the Beachhouse Restaurant, are absolutely wonderful - helpful, immediately responsive and thoroughly professional! Jamie was our primary contact, but Shawn always responded promptly when Jamie was not available. We had barely a month to plan a wedding party to accommodate our Navy daughter's schedule, but clear and complete information from the Beachhouse covering every aspect of our party and lists of recommended outside vendors made it SO easy! The setting on the large back patio was lovely, the food delicious and plentiful and the servers accommodating and efficient. We have received so many complimentary comments from our guests and, in every way, the party was just what we hoped it would be.

the service, food and view were amazing! we definitly picked the right place to have our wedding ceremony and reception. Jamie and Shawn were awesome to work with and were great during the planning process. If I could do it all again I wouldn't change a thing!

I would recommend this venue to anybody!! Shawn Rhoton and her staff are AMAZING!!! I basically just showed up and everything was taken care of. All of our guest said "that was the best wedding ever". If you are looking for the perfect laid back beach location this is it. The staff was on top of everything but yet not distracting. They did NOT nickel and dime me with linens, cake cutting fees, and bar-tending fees. The price was EXTREMELY reasonable and the food was EXCELLENT!!! This was the perfect place for me and my husband to tie the knot!!!!

We had a lovely destination at The Beach House Restaurant! Our family and friends had such a wonderful time. I planned my wedding basically through emails since I do not live in Florida but in New Jersey and Shawn Rhoton made it so easy! She was very responsive and calmed me instantly the day of the wedding when I saw her. The food was great and very affordable. The only negative that happened was we couldn't find one of our waiters for a few minutes so people were missing their drink orders, but other that that it was a great experience!!

I cannot say enough great things about Shawn and Jamie. They both worked to make my day not only special, but beautiful and carefree! I would suggest The Beachhouse Restaurant to any of my friends looking to have a low cost, but great wedding. I did not even have to have the extra expense of a wedding planner, because Shawn and Jamie took care of everything for me. I loved getting married there and I look forward to returning there in the future!

The BeachHouse was a perfect location for my destination wedding ceremony and reception. We were honored and thrilled to work with such professionals in Shawn and Jaime. They worked with us through every intricate detail and helped make our big day be as perfect as possible. All of our wedding guests new to the BeachHouse walked away thinking this was the best destination wedding location, as it provided excellent food and service, plus the view of the beach and sunset cannot be matched!

Friends of ours reserved the smaller outdoor patio for a brunch the day after the wedding. Although they said they had to do some negotiating on price to make it become reasonable, it worked out wonderfully. The food was great, great view and really wonderful service!

Shawn and Jaime were fantastic! They made everything so easy and perfect. Shawn was quick to respond every time I contacted her by e-mail or even when I stopped by the venue to watch a wedding. She and Jaime helped me figure out all the ceremony details that I had not even considered and made sure both the ceremony and reception went off without a hitch. They coordinated the wedding day-of and took care of directing everything so I didn't have to worry at all. I had the most perfect wedding ever! Everything went well, the ceremony site on the beach was perfect, reception site was perfect, people loved the food, and the staff was wonderful to my guests. I would recommend The Beachhouse to everyone!

Our wedding in April was in Sarasota on Siesta Key beach. All of our planning had to be done over the phone since we are from Chicago, so it was a little hard for us. Finding a reception location was fairly easy since The Beachhouse Restaurant is rated so high. I got in touch with Shawn and she was immediately accommodating. The reception was everything I wanted and more. The staff was amazing. Our families loved the staff and the venue itself. The food was great and the sunset views were spectacular, especially for our wedding photos. Thank you Beachhouse!!!! P.S. Make sure you try their Mojitos!!! Amy and Paul Chocola

We were looking for a casual but nice place for our wedding and The Beachhouse was absolutely perfect! The view of the ocean is absolutely breathtaking and makes a perfect background for wedding photos. Shawn and Jamie were so great in helping to make wedding planning and our special day less stressful. Shawn was very quick to respond to all calls, emails, and questions and was waiting for me at the door when I arrived to make sure my groom couldn't see me. The only con about this place is that it books up FAST so get it while you can! One other small thing we were a bit concerned about was that there were only 2 servers for our 60 person wedding and we were afraid that our guests would have to wait too long for drinks. That turned out not to be the case. The servers were very attentive and our guests had a fabulous time! I would defininitely recommend having your wedding here!

I cannot stress enough how wonderful Shawn and Jamie were in helping me prepare for my wedding. They were very responsive, professional, friendly and accommodating. The food and service were top-notch, it was a great value for the money and the breathtaking view of the gulf was just the icing on the cake. I got so many compliments from guests about how great everything was. My wedding was also viewable from the FoxNews webcam, which made it easy for those who did not attend, to be able to see my wedding! I would highly recommend the Beach House to any bride looking for a beautiful venue with 5 star service, but doesn't want to break their bank. Great job ladies!!! We will be returning to the Beach House for our 1 year anniversary!!!

This venue absolutely rocked!!Shawn and Jamie were super helpful answering my many questions and ensuring our wedding day went smoothly.The staff were friendly and accommodating.The food was top notch and plentiful ( we received a lot of complement from our guests). The major selling point for this being our venue was the view.Perfect view of the gulf was truly the icing on the cake for our wedding day.Not to mention the value was unbeatable. We would recommend the Beach House Restaurant to anyone in a heartbeat!!

My wedding was perfect thanks to everyone at The Beachhouse! Everyone there was incredibly helpful and professional during the ceremony and reception and Shawn and Jamie were amazing helping me plan the ceremony and pull together the final details beforehand....they went above and beyond! I dropped off my centerpieces and decorations before the wedding and they were laid out exactly as I had imagined and made everything beautiful! The food was fantastic and the scenery was amazing!! I HIGHLY recommend The Beachhouse and can tell you you that you will NOT be disappointed!!!

I don't have enough time in the day to review all the things this place did right. Shawn is an amazing, caring, communicative person who was excellent at helping us plan our destination wedding and didn't mind me being a super-detail minded person with tons of questions/emails. I must have drove her crazy asking her about paper lanterns and table positions.The location is gorgeous. The pavilion was great, just dreamy for a beach wedding. It was so gorgeous to see it all decorated with the beautiful sea right behind our tables.My only suggestion to keep in mind that you are outdoors and that a storm could happen so just be prepared mentally/emotionally. We had a monsoon occur, basically. I have to give total props to their staff for handling the situation to the best of their ability. They moved us inside gracefully after it was clear the rain wasn't going to let up and the effects of that for us being out on the deck were less than optimal. It was the first real rain they had had in two months. (our luck!) They had a banquet room and moved all of our decorations and reset the tables, bouquets and all. Once we were in there, it was much more comfortable and the party was great! We also had a problem with our PA and one of the bartenders drove home to bring back his own. How nice is that?!While I didn't get that lazy, warm sultry evening party under the stars and sea, we had plenty of excitement to start things out and good times indoors. Everyone said they loved the meal (I barely ate) and the rum buckets were a hit. The service was always polite and top notch. It was great that they allowed us to play our own music, too, as the restaurant was full even on a Monday night.I loved working with Shawn and her staff was great. This is a place that knows what they are doing in the area and I wouldn't have chosen another place on the island. (We did look at the Sandbar and didn't like it as much.) Shawn helped us with coordinating the ceremony and even sent us back our vows in the mail which we had left behind. I thought they were all so, so nice. And hey, it's the beach!

We just had our wedding at The BeachHouse two weeks ago. Everything was AMAZING!! It was my dream day! Working with Shawn and Jaime made everything stressless! They executed everything flawlessly! It was a perfect day and perfect wedding from start to finish! You couldn't ask for a more beautiful location either! The food and the service were excellent! Thank you so so so much for making my dream come true!

My husband and I are from Girard, Pa. My parents winter in Bradenton Florida every year and we love visiting every March. At the time that we were dating, we would travel down to spend some time on the beach. We would always pass the Beachhouse and I would think to myself, what a beautiful place to get married. After my husband proposed we knew we wanted to be married in Florida. My parents became our wedding planners. I emailed Shawn Rhoton at the Beachhouse for more information and then it all began! Shawn is an amazing woman! She answered all my emails and questions in detail and in a timely fashion! My parents made an appointment with her to start to get our plans underway. We set our plans to get married in the North Pavilion. We had a smaller wedding and that accomadated us perfectly.Since I am not from the area, Shawn suggested where to get my hair done, makeup, etc... All of her suggestions were right on point! I couldn't have been happier!The Beachhouse has a very pleasant and wonderful staff! They work very well with all vendors and bend over backwards to make sure your day is a dream come true!We couldn't have been more pleased with the venue, the service, and the food.Our 1 year anniversary is coming up in March. We will definitely be spending our evening reminiscing at the Beachhouse.

I was SO excited to have my wedding at The Beachhouse. We had been planning it for over a year. It is a great place...The location is beautiful. The food is also great. There were a couple things I was I unhappy about. First of all, we were at the point when we were going to do the Sand Ceremony and that was not set up. We had to wait for someone to go grab it. It wasn't that big of a deal but it should have been set up. Also, during the ceremony one of the servers came up to me and said, "We are not serving the top tier, correct?" I said, "No we are saving it". Come to find out at the end of the night they cut it was and served it to all of the guests. And then on top of that my mother briefly mentioned to the servers that they could have some of the cake. The servers took/ate all of the cake.The cake served 100 people and we only had 50 guests so there was a ton left. I only had a few bites of my cake so it wold have been nice to take some home.

We had our wedding reception at the Beach House on December 18, 2010. We had approximately 55 guests and used the larger pavilion. Everything went perfectly. Shawn has been wonderful since day 1... she actually helped my husband (then boyfriend) plan my proposal! And Jamie (her assistant) has been wonderful, as well. I had someone helping with the decor of my wedding since I lived out of state, and they were very willing to help her in any way. She was even allowed to go decorate the ceiling of the pavilion that morning before any customers came to the restaurant! As others have said, they don't nickel and dime you here. They are very willing to work within your budget and help any way they can. Everyone enjoyed the food and the views are amazing. Honestly, I was a little worried at first because it's a more casual venue, and I was afraid that it wouldn't look as "elegant" as I wanted. But with the right decor, it looks absolutely beautiful. And you can't beat the fact that it's right on the beach. I would definitely recommend this venue to any of my friends.

I was married on December 4, 2010. The Beachhouse was the perfect setting for our small wedding (30 people). Shawn was responsive and helpful, especially since I was planning a destination wedding. I couldn't have asked for a better location. The food was great, however after the wedding I had family tell me there was not enough food. They actually ran out of some of the sides. Also, I scored Quality of service low since after our ceremony when the groom and I wanted a cocktail to celebrate, our photographer had to actually go to the bar to get a drink for us. Shawn did not check in with us as I would have expected to make sure everything was okay but I would assume this is because there was another wedding happening at the same time. Bottom line, if you are looking for a beach venue for ceremony and reception...you could not pick a more perfect place.
