Chef Roberta was a pleasure to work with and the foodtasting was the most enjoyable part of the wedding planning process. We chosethe table side service for our wedding reception and it provided the perfect intimatedinning atmosphere we were going for. The cheeseburgers in paradise and bangbang shrimp were absolutely amazing; and it was great that our wedding partyhad a dedicated server who would come bring us appetizers during our afterwedding photo shoot so we did not miss out on anything. Jessie helped us choose our décor and was helpful all theway to the day of the wedding and Cassey made sure everything went smoothly theday of; placing all the votives and favors where they needed to be and mostimportantly helped me with my big entrance. -Amanda...

Chef Roberta and her staff were a dream to work with. She listened to our ideas on a menu and was able to incorporate foods from both of our heritages. We had about 60 guests and chose to have the table-side service. Everyone was able to chose the entree they wanted. This service brought a more intimate "restaurant" dining experience to our wedding reception. We also worked with Kate from their Design services and she was great. She really helped bring our ideas together and decorate the space beautifully. She is very organized and helped make certain the day flowed beautifully.

The food was raved about. Chef Roberta was everything we wanted and that was quality and tasteful food. Kala, with Sarasota Wedding Gallery, was amazing especially the day of as our Day of Coordinator. I don't know what I would have done with out her. -Danya and Joe

My husband and I knew we were in great hands with Roberta and her talented team and they truly ensured our day was memorable. Roberta listened to our needs and her food is delicious! Her cheeseburgers in paradise and crab cakes were among the favorites and everyone raved about the food throughout the night - actually they are still talking about it and we were married in June this year. My husband loves, I mean loves hotdogs. Roberta was able to work with me to surprise him with having hot dogs, all the fixings and root beer float accompianments during dancing. Everyone really enjoyed this touch and many thanks Roberta as it scored many points with my husband. If you are looking for a caterer in the Sarasota/Tampa area Roberta and her team are fabulous. Their food quality and service is impeccable. Thank you ladies for ensuring our day was so memorable.

Overall, my best decision for our wedding. Great food, considerate staff. My recommendation is to do the TAPAS service, lots of food but your guests don't eat for 3 hours; instead we were back up dancing as soon as everyone ate. (I love that - I like appetizers; but just didn't want it to be a all night food fest). Most favorite food: cheeseburgers (we saw these on the review boards - and yes everyone is right - they are delicious) and the three entrees. They weren't the least expensive; but I work in the hospitality industry; so I know when the fish is truly Mahi Mahi - not catfish. Definately A++++++++

Chef Roberta spent time with us making our menu and full-service ammenities just how we wanted them. She offered her expertise but was open to what we wanted too. The food was phenomenal. I have never had some of the appetizers she made and neither had my guests but we were all pleasantly surprised and came back for more. The servers were very accommodating with every request and kept coming with more and more food. Worth every penny!

Excellent food and service. My guest have all commented to me on how good the bang bang shrimp and cheeseburgers in paradise were. By far the best and easiest decision made for our big day. Chef Roberta and her staff do excellent work to make sure eveything is great and that my husband and I got enough food. Kim who is excellent was right there whenever I needed something and was there right before I walked down the isle and gave me a tissue to wipe my eyes one last chance. Thank You Milan!

Chef Roberta was fantastic. She has such a positive attitude and great personality. The minute you meet her you will know you want to work with her and the minute you taste her food you will know you HAVE to work with her. My husband and I loved every single dish we tried! We are huge foodies and we were thrilled with how everything turned out! At the tasting I almost cried when eating her beef tenderloin! It was delicious and the spices she used reminded me of the corned beef my grandfather used to make. From that moment on I was sold. Everyone loved the food. It felt fancy and familiar at the same time. It was good food done right. I still have friends and family who are talking about the food! Chef Roberta makes you feel like everything will be taken care of down to the last detail and you will never have to worry about how things are going to come together. Everything looked beautiful and tasted wonderful. Our guests loved it just as much as we did! I just wish I was able to eat more on the day of. She did everything she could to make sure we enjoyed the food. She even sent us a plate of hor'derves while we were getting our photos done. We decided on TAPAS service - which was spectacular! The guests were full, happy and danced the night away! One of our best wedding planning decisions was hiring Chef Roberta and Milan Catering. Chef Roberta is very skilled at what she does. Her food was absolutely amazing! However, that was just one piece. She and her staff, especially Kim, helped us plan our wedding details. My wife and I had a fantastic experience with Milan Catering. Roberta and her staff showed great attention to detail and were very attentive to our every need. As a groom it was great to know that my bride did not have to worry on every little detail and had Kim there to help us on our wedding day. Of course as a man, I was concerned with not getting to eat the great food they made, but Kim was sure to get us our appetizers during pictures and have plates ready for us to eat. Thank you to Chef Roberta, Kala, & the Milan's team for making our wedding wonderful! The food and presentation could not have been better! After our initial tasting I knew I was not going to allow myself to be one of those brides that doesn't make time to eat at her wedding b/c the food was just so good! Your of team servers, bartenders, chefs were so professional and friendly (they also made sure to find me and give me all my favorites throughout the night!) We got so many compliments from how pretty & fun the food presentations were, to how amazing everything tasted. We even decided to skip on cake and just use a bunch of different desserts by Chef Roberta (my personal favorite was heart shaped brownies and a shot of milk). One of my favorite parts of the wedding was how excited our guests were when they got to enjoy the mini hot-dog and cheeseburger after-bites w/ root beer float shots! An especially big thank you to Roberta and Kala (our wedding coordinator w/ Sarasota Wedding Gallery/Milan's) who made sure that all of our wedding & menu planning was fun and relaxing for both me and my husband!

Food was outragousely great. Chef Robeta creted menus that were family favorites, but with a twist. Her staff was helpful. They saved the day when the I discovered that the Crosley had fogotten to order the lights over the patio and the Milan staff drove over and got different lights for us. It was a perfect day and evening... I was sorry when it ended. Definately a first rate company and I will always love them for just solving the problem of the lights.

I can not say enough good things about Milan Catering. Chef Roberta creates the best food ever and Kala is an absolute Godsend. I was not a bride with any idea as to how I wanted my wedding day to be. I had not dreamed about it since a child. Kala spoke with me for about 20 minutes and created the most beautiful event I could ever imagine. Kala was amazing, she helped me find other vendors, assisted with decorations and makeup. I could call her anytime, anyday without issue. I live out of town about 1.5 hours away so having someone familar with the area was a necessity and Kala did no dissappoint. Chef Roberta makes the most declious food and the fact that it's made at the event without reheating creates moist fresh food, nothing was dry. Also Kim helped as a last minute replacement, these ladies are truly professional and get the job done with no headaches. Can't say enough. Love'd these ladies.

Hi.. I was the groom and the food selection was my responsiblity. We checked out lots of other caterers, including the Tampa ones that were approved on the Crosley list. So the food was generally good, but there was really nothing special about it.. it seemed to be like everyone's else wedding. So when we got to Milan, Chef Roberta suggested that we do a sit down service with 4 entrees. That really appealed to me as we had 24 vegetarians (including kids) coming from Europe and I did not want to be embarrassed by serving them pasta. The 4 courses included the vegetarian, halibut, filets and chicken. The staff asked our guests once they were seated, so we didn't have to provide a menu choices before the wedding (seriously.. who has time for that). The food was superior. It rained on us and the staff pulled all of the chairs into the mansion and HAND WIPED them down for our guests. I was impressed as those 100+ chairs were soaked. They extended the appetizer hour slightly,made sure that the bridal party had enough to eat as we tride to dry off and the girls reapplied their makeup, and announced dinner when we finally got through the introductions (we walked down the second staircase). Chef Roberta had told us that they cook on site with their ovens. She was right, especially when the weather is not cooperating, as our food was delicious! As the husband, I got lots of kudos for the food, but really, it was Milan and Chef Roberta!

Perfection! Chef Roberta and her team were amazing. From the tasting to the reception, the food was amazing. In fact, the food was better the day of our wedding than at the tasting! Guests are still commenting on the food. From the appetizers to the meal, no one complained. We had people who don't like salmon tell us how much they liked the salmon--it was that good. And, the set up for the ceremony and reception was perfect. Our day-of-coordinator, Kayla...what more could I ask for. She was an angel. I can't even begin to imagine the day without her. NO headaches for us, NO questions for us...we truly were able to enjoy our day without any worries. And, everything went so smoothly. Kayla really made our day stress free. Thank you Roberta, Kala, and staff. You are the best!

We did something really different for our cake; a dessert bar instead that also converted to favors at the end of the evening. The staff set up the dessert tables as a surprise, so while we were eating in the mansion; the desserts were being placed on the patio. The doors opened, I actually heard the guests go AHHHH - which was really the type of surprise I wanted. We had lots of childern as well, you can imagine how delighted they were with so many choices. We added an extensive coffee station so dessert hour was really enjoyed! The rest of the menu and appetizers were wonderful, hot, delicious and some of the alternative food recommendations by Chef Roberta got rave reviews! Definately consider this caterer... especially if you want an element of surprise. I think her staff and Chef Roberta got were as excited as we were on the dessert bars

Food was really awesome; but my husband and I really loved the dessert bites. We are not cake fans; but love all sorts of Italian desserts and cookies. Chef Roberta served them with shot glasses of milk (organic of course) which was really a fun idea and my guests appreciated having the sweet kick at the end of the evening. The Mila staff was so nice to all of us; anytime we needed anything; they literally ran to get it. We were assigned a server, dedicated to us for the entire evening, so both of us had plenty to drink and eat! My guests loved the food; they would come up and wish us well; and then in the next breath thank us for the wonderful food. I didn't cook this; but we took the compliments anyway! Definately do the dessert bars instead of the cakes. If felt so much more like a party than Mom's wedding

Chef Roberta and her team are the best. They were very helpful throughout the whole process. The food was excellent and memorable. People are still talking about how great the food was at my wedding. Kayla was my day-of coordinator. She was a dream come true. If I didn't have her, I would not have made it through my "big day". She took care of everything. I had no worries my entire wedding day. No stress! Milan catering is the best!

Terrific food.... staff is really wonderful. Even my VEGANs loved their food.
