It was an absolute please working with our DJ, Rob Vollmar. I heard great things about him before the wedding but I came away veen more pleased with his work. He helped make the wedding flow and kept it fun and classy for all to enjoy.

We had a VERY budget wedding and almost went without a DJ. Thank goodness we didn't!!! Grant Hemond and Associates were willing to work with our budget to provide us the best entertainment for our guests. Rob was our DJ for the night and he was amazing!!! He read the crowd and kept everyone on the dance floor. He interacted with our guests in the most fun manner. To top it off, he gave us a CD at the end of the night with our wedding music, toasts, and a version of a song our best man sang for us. It was incredibly over the top and I would highly recommend Grant Hemond (and Rob for sure!) to anyone in the market for a DJ!

Jody Bower is the man! He did a great job with our music during our ceremony and reception. He arrived in a timely manner and was very professional. He didn't play any songs that we 'banned' and he played an eclectic selection that catered to all ages. I was very pleased!

If you are looking for the best Disc Jockey company in Tampa Bay look no further. Grant Hemond and Associates is the way to go for your upcoming wedding. From the start of the DJ process Grant and his office assistant Jaime were awesome and their customer service was superior. I had heard about one of their DJ's named Rob Vollmar through a family friend and requested him for our special night. I had the opportunity to personally speak to Grant and he was able to get Rob for our wedding. I was later contacted by Rob and could tell just by talking to him that the wedding was going to be a blast. The night of the wedding Rob personally introduced himself to us in the staging area before the wedding announcements began. At that time, I knew I had made the right choice and was excited to get the party started. Rob had the place rocking all night and knew exactly what type of music to play throughout the evening. Rob had people on the dance floor all night long and had awesome wedding games for my wife and I to play. Several guests have called us since the wedding and raved about Rob and how he made the night so much fun. They also said that our wedding was the best wedding that they have ever been to.

We used Grant Hemond and Associates as the DJ service for our wedding. We also had them handle the uplighting and the Gobo. Craig Hemond was the DJ for our wedding and he was remarkable! We spoke on the phone w/ this several times, discussing what we had in mind, what we wanted and/or didn't want, etc. He was easy to get ahold of, flexible with our time and guided us on anything we weren't sure on! The day before our wedding, I had a mini meltdown (the only one, luckily!) and had to delegate our last discussion to my new husband. I was very particular on every little detail on the wedding, so relinquishing control was a little tough for me. But Craig and my husband did a great job- mostly due to the Craig's professional guidance and knowledge ;) I never even had time to officially pick the music for the ceremony, but Craig knew my overall direction and made the executive choice for me- it was PERFECT! I would highly recommend Craig and Grant Hemond and Associates to any picky bride! The company was professional and Craig was awesome! Everyone raved about how fantastic the DJ was! As stated above, we used Grant Hemond and Associates for our uplighting and gobo needs. The uplighting was easy, they handled it perfectly! However, the gobo took us a few tries to get exactly what I was looking for. I worked with Jamie Ruscio for many weeks on the gobo design. It really only took so long because I often took a while to reply :/ She was AMAZING! I must have emailed her 5 times a day and she was so generous and understanding! She would work with me, then convey my vision to the design company and by the end, she knew if I'd like the new design before even talking to me. She made it happen as fast as I could answer. I really can't express how awesome she was- I felt bad for being so picky but she never once made me feel like I was a nuisance (but I know I definitely was!). Every person that I worked with was phenomenal! From the first time I called to inquire about information, to Craig wishing us well when we returned from our honeymoon! A+ company!

I had Eric Harding from Grant Hemond and assoc...Awesome DJ!! He gave me a cd at the end of the night that had our speeches and first dance songs recorded on it. He was great to work with and knew all the music that we were looking for. I would reccommend him to anyone!

Everyone that I worked with here was great! They did my ceremony music and they were my DJ. My guest loved them and the DJ that I worked with was awesome. I had No idea what I wanted for music and he came with a ton of suggestions. Picking music was probably one of the most stressful parts of my wedding for me and they made it really easy. The day of the wedding I wound up changing some of my music selections and my DJ was totally flexible and accommodating and he made my day wonderful!

Rob (& Grant Hemmond & Associates) were FANTASTIC to work with!!! Rob came highly recommended and we were so blessed to have him available for our special day!! Rob was professional and thorough and helped us in SO many ways - from the ceremony to the reception. Rob did a fantastic job at keeping everybody dancing and entertained throughout the reception - and did so in a very professional and FUN way!! Rob knew what our "vision" was for our wedding and stuck with it... for that we are SO grateful!!! We wouldn't recommend any other DJ besides (Grant Hemmond... and Rob, of course)!!!! If you have not booked Grant Hemond as your DJ you are missing the boat. We had the pleasure to work with Rob Vollmar as our wedding dj and he did a spectacular job. Rob kept our reception flowing and our guests entertained. At the end of the night he presented us with a CD he created during the evening of all the toast and then a special song with coments of the night added in. It was such a nice surprise and we still love listening to it a week later. I can not be more grateful of the quality of work, service, and professionalism we received from Rob & Grant Hemond. When picking a DJ service, all you can really do is hope that they pick the right person to work your event based on your personality and the guests' personalities! Craig Hemond was our DJ and really followed through with me on the important songs you want to have just right, as well as helping me with others that are important but somewhat traditional. Craig did a wonderful job working our reception and really got our guests up and going, to the point where he called me over a few minutes before the end and blew my mind that the night was over....we could have partied for several more hours with him being our DJ because he read our crowd just perfectly!! Craig - thanks for such a job well done!!

We had Rob Vollmar as our DJ for our wedding reception. He was absoultely amazing! From the planning to the execution, he was all ears and truly listened to our wishes. During the planning, he was easily available via email or phone to sort out all of the fine little details. The day off, he had it all under control- even found the time to get my hubby and I a drink during cocktail hour when we were busy taking photos- now that's going above and beyond! During the reception, Rob was so personal and energetic. He took the time to get to know our family and friends to make our wedding both personal and memorable. Knowing we didn't have a videographer, Rob surprised us with a personalized CD containing our first dance song, father-daughter song and our bestman/maid of honor speeches! I would highly recommend (without any reservation) Rob to other brides seeking a fun, memorable and sincere DJ!

We signed with Grant Hemond because we really loved the price, but we were even more impressed and happy with the service we got from not just the company but from our DJ Craig. We got so many compliments on the music during the reception, he played exactly the songs we wanted (and none that we asked him not too!). He was able to discern our music taste just from a few suggestions and kept everyone dancing. With every song he played, I didn't think the music could get any better, then the next awesome song came on! We could not be happier with our experience with Grant Hemond and our DJ Craig, he really was the highlight of our wedding!

Everyone knows that at a wedding a good DJ is a must. The DJ must dress like a professional, behave like a professional, engage the guests, keep to the timeline and look like he is having fun. Well Rob Vollmar did all this and more from the time he arrived to the time he left. I can't say enough good things about our daughter's reception thanks to Rob. All the added extras during the night really made us feel like royalty. This is the top DJ vendor you could ever want, need or ask for. If you live anywhere near Tampa Bay FL and want no worries about your DJ you MUST get this guy!

I made the decision to use Grant Hemond Associates and Rob Vollmar because of all the great reviews that I read online and I was definitely not disappointed! Rob has a great personality and listened to exactly what I did and did not want played. He ran the timing of my reception perfectly and kept all of the guests entertained with fun games and a good variety of music that kept everyone dancing. He also did blue uplighting in my reception room and it looked fantastic! Many of my guests commented on how much they loved the lighting and how it made the room look so beautiful. I would highly recommend using Rob Vollmar from Grant Hemond and Associates for any wedding or event!

Awesome DJ service. We had Ward Hemmond for our DJ. We specifically requested Ward as we have seen him in action at other weddings. He played the right music for our mixed crowd of guests with music from all era's. Especially liked how Ward was able to act as our voice to ensure the night flowed without any hiccups. He was highly organized, called us a week prior to go over music selections, assisted us with our special request for music he was not familiar with for our ceremony but most of all for his happy demeanor. He dressed professionally and was able to interact with our guests with ease. Staff at Grant Hemmond were also flexible when we had to make changes to how many hours we wanted to hire the company for. Very responsive and friendly. Highly recommend this company. Can't count how many people I know use Grant Hemmond and Associates for their weddings. Job well done!

Dj Doug Decker was our DJ and he was awesome! I was worried in general about a DJ, I've heard some horror stories! Doug was profesional and hilarious and outgoing. He did everything I had asked him to do and my entire wedding was a dance party because of him. We had a 50/50 mix of older guests and the rest were friends. He made sure everyone was up dancing and having a great time! I danced the entire time at my own wedding and feel so lucky becuase not many brides get to have fun! He told me others wouldn't dance if the bride wasn't dancing and I think I took it too literally :) I had such a great time! Thanks Doug your the man!Amanda

Rob Vollmer was our DJ and he was the best!! He worked with my sister to create some special performances during the reception which all our guests really enjoyed. The dance floor was hopping all night.
