Elaine's Bridal Boutique

I had a wonderful experience at Elaine's Bridal Boutique. The staff was very easy to work with a catered to my every need. The saleswoman suggested a dress that I would not have picked out for myself and it is the dress I ended up wearing on my wedding day. I also purchased my gorgeous veil from here as well. My wedding dress purchasing experience was an absolute pleasure thanks to Elaine's. Unfortunately, shortly after I purchased my dress this wonderful shop closed its doors.

I didn't have the greatest experience. I booked an appointment to try on some dresses but the place was so busy that I really wasn't getting much help. The selection isn't very good either, very traditional style, poofy cake-topper dresses. They were having an excellent sample sale where everything was half-off so if you're looking for a bargain you may have some luck here. Unfortunately, there was one dress that I kind of liked but I was told by the saleswoman that "all I need to do is drop 15 lbs and the dress would look perfect." Ouch!

I wanted a specific Maggie dress and after emailing Elaine, she happened to have it in stock!!! I drove 1.5 hrs to her store and tried it on and fell in love!! I also got my veil & head piece from here, they were beautiful!! When they didn't have my head piece when I went back to order it (someone had beaten me to it hehe), Elaine promptly placed the order & got it in for me. They also gave me a recommend seamstress in the area when their's couldn't do it... her name was Joanie and she was AMAZING!! My dress turned out beautiful! I had a wonderful experience here and would recommend them to anyone!! Thank you!

I probably would have given Elaine's a solid A, but after visiting CC's Boutique and experiencing what a real dress shopping experience should be like, I'll give Elaine's and A-. There was nothing wrong with the experience at Elaine's, it just wasn't as elegant as CC's. I did find a dress that I love at Elaine's and the prices were very good too! The sales assistant that helped us was very kind and not pushy in a any way. She let me go in the back and pull dresses with her, which I liked. They were not secretive about prices or designers. All and all, a solid dress shop - just nothing fancy!

Very friendly and patient staff. I got two dresses.... one wedding one reception... both for a reasonable prices!

Very professional. I love Elaine, the owner of the store! She really made my shopping experience wonderful. I will never forget her! My dress was perfectly altered and they also dyed my shoes which came out very nice as well. Overall a great experience!!

Fantastic store! Unfortunately I did not buy my wedding dress from here (but I wish I would have!), but I did buy my bridesmaids' dresses, my shoes, and my veil. It was a wonderful experience. Elaine is so nice and helpful. If you live in the Sarasota/Bradenton area, I would strongly recommend buying your dress and accessories from here.

Elaine is the sweetest person to work with! She has many many years of experience of planning in addition to just bridal attire. She helped me a great deal with my invitations/wording and gave me a discount. She allowed me to keep my gown there for a small insurance fee, since I didn't really have anywhere to put it. She also took great care of my preservation needs, and her seamstress was great for the few alterations I needed (Elaine sent such good measurements to the dress company, I barely needed anything done). Her boutique was so beautiful and nicer than any shop I went to in Sarasota, so I really did not mind driving to Bradenton for her excellent services.
