The worst store manager I have ever come across. Check the Better Business Breau First on this vendor. No wonder that they do not take credit cards. I bid on and won a certificate for flowers that was at Ruth Eckard Hall After confirming taking my cerificate home their was now an experation date three months from when I bid and won it. The owner would not extend the date to my wedding which was four and a half months away. Then she said she could not get my flowers in for three days, and when I arranged to pick them up and drive over to clearwater ( i live in Valrico a hour away). When I got their she had no flowers and all kinds of excuses. that my certificate was about to expire, then she changed her mind and said she got rid of the flowers a couple of days ago. she (Debbie the owner) was the most unprofessional person and down rite rude. Thank God that I never have to deal with this business again.

I HIGHLY RECOMMEND DD'S!!! My flowers were absolutely stunning and one of my favorite things from the entire day. She really knows her stuff and the flowers were beautiful in my pictures. DD is also very kind and worked with me and my family to make sure we got what we wanted on the budget we wanted. Her prices are also very affordable. The only thing I would say that might not be worth paying extra for is the day of event planners, but as far as the flowers go... They were PERFECT!

I had a destination wedding in Florida so i never was able to meet Debbie in person but after speaking to her over the phone, I loved her. She knew exactly what I wanted and offered suggestions on things I wasn't sure of. There was a little communication breakdown however as some of my emails and letters went unanswered for a few weeks (to her credit, I did get married during "wedding season.") I also added some extras about a month before the wedding and Debbie had no problem working with me on those. My flowers turned out beautifully and I received sooo many compliments on them and my centerpieces. What sold me was her price. She had the best price out there and was in my budget. I do wish she was a little more responsive but all in all, everything turned out wonderfully and I was happy I chose her. She did a great job.

I really wish I would have seen this before I agreed to go with DD Bloom. She sat me down and gave me this long speech about how amazing her and her business was telling me she always goes above what is expected to make the everything amazing. She also went into this long story about how she doesn't take credit cards because she was getting to many charge backs (later I found out why and had I used my credit card I wouldn't have paid for what I got either). I specifically expressed what I wanted for the vision of my wedding. Black, Red and White. The flowers were to be all red roses and dyed hydrangias (ALL RED)!! Well what I got was arrangements that cam straight from a brothel!! They were white and PINK PINK!!! I HATE PINK!!!! They had these horrible black feathers and silver sticks coming out of them. I was very disappointed. When we got back from our honeymoon I sent her an email... no reponse! Then my husband calls the next week... no reponse and no returned call. This is the most unprofessional place I have ever worked with. Everyone at my wedding knows about it (because I made an announcement). And I will continue to tell everyone I know, go to every blog until I get a phone call back apoligizing. I have made sure my photographers knows, cake place knows, etc...PS... We weren't on a tight budget and even if we were you need to give people whatt they asked for not your distorted version of nice.

My whole experience working with Debbie was great until the day of the wedding and after. She is very knowlegeable and I feel truly wants the wedding to look nice. I believe we had a communication problem that unfortunately was discovered to late. First of all the floweres that were there were beautiful and not one guest would have ever guessed anything was wrong. The problem came from the fact that what is written on the contract is in Debbie's shorthand and what you think it means may not be what it means to her. My husband, my mother and myself all remember meetings where we discussed certain details that I was told would be done but unfortunately because I know nothing about flowers i ddn't understand what half the contract said so what Debbie says goes. We have no proof as it were. The other problem I had was that I provided Debbie with ribbon that matched the ribbon used on every other detail and the bridesmaids dresses. Debbie forgot it and used some other color that matched nothing for the girls bouquets. When we talked later she told me that I was "lucky I even had my flowers" due to the eathquake in Japan and that she had been rushed dueto that fact which is why she forgot the ribbon. She sent me Red Lobster gift certificate to make up for it. I just felt like she was defensive after the fact when I approached her about my concerns and I thought being told that I was "lucky" to get what I had paid for and contracted her to do seemed an odd way to look at it. We also had a problem with the boutinier's falling part. Luckily she was still there setting up while we were taking pictures and repaired them but for quite a few of the pictures my husband was wearing one of the groomsmens bout's and the groomsman had none. That was also brushed off when I talked to her after the wedding. Like I said, none of the guests ever knew anything was wrong however my husband and I will always see how we wanted those few details that we didn't get... they were reletively minor but they mattered to us. the flowers that were they were very beautiful...I'm not knocking that in anyway.

I don't have one bad thing to say about DD's Blooms. Debbie was fantastic! She gave us all sorts of ideas for saving money - for the wedding and just in general. She is very personable and really wants your wedding to look great and she wants you to be happy. The flowers were beautiful and exactly what I had imagined. I was so excited to find a reasonably priced florist. Debbie was able to do everything I wanted for half the price of what other's were charging. Thank you Debbie, I don't think I can say enough about how great you are!

I met with Debbie after a wedding show and both my mom and I liked her immediately, especially her way of telling you how it is. I also loved that she didn't try to force a certain flower down my throat and instead listened that I wanted a certain color regardless of flower. At the final meeting, there was a discrepancy of me wanting gel beads but they weren't on our contract (I know we discussed this at the first meeting because it was the whole look I wanted to begin with). Regardless, Debbie assured me we would have the gel beads in our centerpieces and we did. The problem came in when the submersible LED lights that I purchased and left for her to put in our centerpieces were no where to be found in the final product and there was not even a phone call to let me know until my mom saw them being placed on the tables. We called Debbie and she stated that she didn't put them in because they would rise to the top in the water (these are submersible lights and do not float, FYI). I informed her that they don't float and there was no need for water in our centerpieces because, a)you can't see the gel beads with water on them and b)the curly willow sticks don't need to be watered. Well she came to the hotel with my LED lights and basically threw them in there instead of placing them on the bottom of the vase so they could illuminate upwards. My bouquets and other flowers were beautiful although there could have been a bit more of the dark purple that I wanted. My only big hitch was my centerpieces on my wedding day and for that I was disappointed in Debbie for not even letting me know. If my mom hadn't gone downstairs when she did, this review would be a hell of a lot worse because our LED lights were crucial to our centerpiece vision. Debbie is a nice lady and she was the best price out there. Looking back, I would've asked for a mockup before the big day.

I met DD's Blooms at a Bridal Show in St. Pete. I set up a free consultation and started the creative process( both floral and monetary) with Debbie. She knew I was on a tight budget and was very helpful in getting the look that I wanted for my reception at the price I could afford. We met a few times and made a changes here and there but I knew that the quality and look would never be compromised. My mom and Debbie also completely hit it off. I have to give a vendor credit when they are so up front about what they think and with their suggestions. I hate being BS-ed and I found that Debbie was a straight shooter. The final product was beautiful and the everyone complimented the different arrangements. I had 3 different sizes and designs. One of the designs was changed a few days before because when Put it together she was frank with me and said she knew the arrangement was not like how I envisioned it so she made some changes ( and I trusted her) and it looked GREAT! I wish you all the best in your endeavors and will continue to recommend you! Thanks again Debbie and DD's Blooms! ~ Adriana

My flowers we're beautiful, until I picked them up out of the box.... I guess I should start with the fact that I didn't get them until I was walking out of the hotel room to the wedding (being fair, I don't know if that one is on DD's or the hotel seeing as how when I called the front desk the second time they brought them up to me). So I picked my flowers up and they started dropping off. I think My bridemaids spent more time picking up the flowers and sticking them back in then they did anything else. I was a little aggervated at the fact that when I called the number on her business card that she had sent me with an invoice reminder to pay the balance she never picked up the phone. I had left one message everyday for a week until my stepdad had located another number for her and left her a message that we will look somewhere else (which didn't make sence to me why he would say that when we had already paid her some of the money, but ok)... the same day she called him back. As she was talking with him, she said she will show him the call log and that I hadn't called her but once the day before, which inturn had my parents upset with me. But it was ok, becasue I pulled up my cell phone bill and had them compare the number she gave me on the business card with the numbers on my cell phone bill, and what do you know, turns out I wasn't telling a lie! That gave me the feeling that she was being turly unprofessional. My bridemaids flowers where amazing and we had no problems with those. Just kindof wish I would have found these review before hand, but life goes on, and it was kindof funny the next morning to see a trail of orchards on the deck. She did work out a great deal with me, but in the end, i really do understand the saying "you get what you pay for". my responce to her responce:First I guess I want to say that I did menton that i was not sure who was to blame for the late delievery... I made that clear. Second, The week that i called every day was the week before the payment was due. And again she would not have returned my phone call until my stepdad had called. As for me not returning any of her phone calls, she only called me once AFTER she had spoke to my stepdad, and i returned the phone call, it was in reguards to where to drop the flowers off, at the boat or at the hotel... I called her back and informed her that i didn't know if the boat was going to be in or not so the safe bet would be the hotel, and she agreed. I spent somewhere around 500 for 3 bridemaids bouq, 1 bridal bouq, and 2 corsages. oh, the the payment wouldn't have been late if i ever recieved a call back, seeing that the calls made that whole entire week was about if i needed to drive the payment over, check in the mail, or credit card over the phone. So to me, the payment was late due to lack of communcation on her end, not mine. I will say again that the bridemaids bouq where what i wanted and held up very well, matter of fact a week later and the one i have is still looking great. I believe her hand tied bouq where great, the corsages where great, it was just my bouq started falling apart. They where beautiful, just made me sad when they started coming apart.

Honestly i dont know where to start i got decived by all these reviews. when i first met debbie i thought she was nicest person ever and i was so excited to work with here but honeslty i so regret it now. when we met for the second she changed her words alot first on the size of my bouquet after she quoted me on a price, so when i wanted my bouquet larger she charged me more than the quote she gave me the first time so i paid the difference hoping that my bouquet will huge. Also after her saying that i could have someone pick up my flowers she changed her words and said no since there is a possiblity that there will be no one at the office to give them the flowers so she made me pay delivery fee. so i asked if she can deliver to both hotels where me and the groom are getting ready and she agree but a week before my wedding she emailed me that she will not be able to deliver to both hotels and i need to pick one to deliver all of the flower too and i deal with the rest. To top all that off was the morning of my wedding when i recived my flowers my bouquet was so small even smaller than my bridmaids bouquet not only that the flowers were already falling off of the bouquet which made me cry in my wedding day; she really rewind my day and i had to call around other florists so they can fix it for me and i took half of my pictures without a bouquet. i will never recommend her to anyone; i am glade some of you got lucky with here

DD was amazing!!! She not only calmed any worries I had but stayed late a night to make sure I could have meeting with her. I live in a different part of Florida and needed to travel to meet with her. The flowers were beautiful and I had no issues what so ever. I'm sorry if anyone had issues with her I had NO PROBLEMS AT ALL and would recommend her to anyone!!! :)

We used dd blooms for our wedding on November 8th. After we paid her deposit she didn't answer any of my calls or emails. The only time I did hear back from her was when the full amount of my payment was due. At the first meeting she was very helpful and showed us beautiful full lush arrangements and quoted us a very fair price the day of my wedding however all the arrangements were sub par to say the least. They definitely weren't the same as the picture. She was at my venue for 30 minutes dropping things off setting things up then left half of the arrangements sitting in buckets for my decorator and caterer to deal with (which wasn't their job) and was incredibly confusing since no one was there to tell anyone what anything was or where is should go. Also the flowers that were supposed to be de-stemed and put onto our cupcake wedding cake were left in buckets once again for my caterer to de-stem and put onto our cake, and once again wasn't her job. She also didn't give us our cake topper which we paid for. when we called her about it after the wedding she was very rude hung up on us and we haven't heard from her since.... I would not recommend her to anyone!

BEST FLORIST EVER!! Thanks to our DJ, Cory Barron, I had the best florist ever. Our meeting with Debbie was another last minute thing, since my original florist stopped responding to my emails and phone calls. The bouquets were absolutely gorgeous and she was SO much fun to work with, such a great personality. I was a little hesitant to use DD Blooms just because I've heard how great they are so I assumed, great flowers= big $$$$. Seriously though, the flowers were within our price range that I had budgeted, and I am glad I chose real flowers as opposed to silk. They looked amazing, and the little rhinestones in the roses gave it that extra touch. Another big plus..Our officiant, and DD Blooms are friends and worked out of the same office basically so they worked everything out amongst themselves. Absolutely gorgeous. Thanks so much!!

I love Debbie. I felt like one of my family members was taking care of my flowers everytime i went there with my Mom and MOH. She did an absolutely beautiful job on my flowers. I loved the blue hydrangeas. They went matched perfectly with my bridesmaids dresses and the green fugi mums gave the room that extra pop! My bouquets were gorgeous. mine was my favorite but the yellow roses coordinated with the girls dresses beautifully. Debbie knew exactly what would work when i would give her the colors i was thinking of. Debbie doesnt book a million weddings on the same day as yours. Its only your wedding that day, so your flowers get her undivided attention. She is the fairy godmother of flowers and no one can beat her prices for the quality of service. PLEASE DO NOT LISTEN TO THE BRIDE WHO GAVE HER A 0.0. She is off her crocker and obviously had some personal issues that she needs to work through. Sounds like a true bridezilla to me. Choose Debbie to be your florist, you wont be disappointed

DD's Blooms were OK. I had a few times where I would reach out and not get a timely response. I was also disappointed in the flowers at the ceremony. I had a beach wedding and while the weather was windier than we would have liked which I know impacted the archway selection, I felt like many of the flowers that were promised around the arch were not provided. However, I will say the flowers at the reception and for the bouquets and boutonnieres were what expected.
