I am so happy that I met Linda! Linda has many years of experience and is and artist! What a wonderful job Linda has ....she makes people feel good about themselves and makes them look fabulous! Linda and Nicole you both ROCKED my niece's wedding! Linda arrived at the hotel at 7AM along with her smile and energy. I could tell right from the start that she would make us all at ease. Linda and Nicole did a fantastic job with the hair and make-up for all of us. (there was a total of 8!!!) We all looked beautiful! I highly recommend A Victorian Bride!

Linda and her assistant did a wonderful job with my hair and make up for my wedding, I have no complaints there and my makeup lasted ALL NIGHT LONG and my hair was wonderful. She really did a great job.Some of my bridesmaids however were not so lucky. Linda had done my maid of honor's hair and she was not very pleased with it. There were 3 curls hanging down that she did not like and had asked Linda if she could just pin them up into her updo (this would have taken less than 3 minutes to do). Because of her request, Linda raised her voice to my maid of honor and told her that "she does not have time to deal with this and that this is ridiculous". None of us knew what was happening and the room became silent. It was extremely unprofessional. This caused another one of my bridesmaids to not want to get her hair done by Linda because she was afraid of how she might react if she did not like it. Linda later asked me if my maid of honor was okay. I told her she was fine. She tried to play it off like she was kidding around with her, but the six other people in the room knew she was not "kidding around". I would have found it much more professional if she had admitted that she should not have yelled and apologized for it. I am a teacher and I always encourage my students to accept responsibility for what they have done wrong and learn from it, not pass the blame on someone else or make up an excuse.I know it is the "brides day" and all, but my bridesmaids paid money to get their hair done and if they do not like it they should be able to speak up and say something without being scolded. When you provide a service such as this for someone it should be expected that not everyone will be happy. I think it is important to know how to deal with clients who are not happy in a more professional way.The other bridesmaids and our moms looked wonderful and were very happy with the service. This incidence however caused much tension in the room for the rest of the day.

Linda with A Victorian Bride did an amazing job on my wedding hair! It was so convenient having her come to me at my hotel, rather than having to drive around an unfamiliar city on my wedding day. She went above and beyond the call of duty to make sure everything was as perfect as possible. Thanks so much!

LINDA is a GOD SENT!!! I knew from reading her reviews AND meeting with her for my trial run that I would never regret hiring her. Linda and her makeup artist were at my house at 7:00 AM with smiles on their faces ready to work! I had 4 bridesmaids, plus my mother and myself. Everyone's hair and makeup was amazing, and the best part was that we all looked just as beautiful at 11:00 PM as we did in the morning when we were first done-up. I had SO many compliments on my hair and makeup, and I loved it because I still looked like myself, just better! I am also a HUGE cryer, and I cannot believe that after all my crying AND sweating, my makeup still looked flawless. The only issue we had was that I forgot to mention to Linda that 3 out of 4 of my girls had very long/thick hair, so we really ran late getting ready, but that was completely MY fault. I had also allotted for extra time anyways so we still made it to the church on time!

I cannot thank Linda enough. She was wonderful I felt like she was a part of the family. She was helpful with all of our needs and stayed longer than she had planned. Our day did not turn out the way I had dreamed. Hurrican winds and pouring rain during the wedding ceremony. Thank God it was in church. Our hair and makeup held up and you would never even think by the pictures that we had to fight the wind getting into church.The sun did eventually come out and the wedding turned out perfect for my daughter. Thank you again Linda.

Linda was absolutely wonderful to work with!! She was easy to get a hold of, flexible and has a fabulous personality. I truly felt like I had known her for years. She did an amazing job on both my hair and makeup, I felt gorgeous all day! I couldn't have asked for a better person to help me get ready on my wedding day!! Since I was new to the area, I was on my own without recommendations. After a lot of research and reading reviews, I am SO HAPPY to have had Linda be a BIG part of my wedding. She is EXTREMELY TALENTED! If you need one Important person for your wedding it's Linda! She will make your wedding complete! I looked amazing! My eyes, OMG, fabulous! The one word every person (family and strangers) used to describe me is STUNNING and I agree! People I didn't know at the resort the next day came up to me and told me I looked stunning. I was so stressed before the wedding and at our trial run she relaxed me, it was like visiting a friend (thank you). The day of the wedding, she kept me calm and relaxed, by the time she was done I was ready to rock and roll! I ran into the bride from the other wedding and she just stopped and looked and me and said " OH WOW!" to make another bride say that!? NICE!! Linda and her team were friendly and had a calming effect on everyone which was important! They made everyone look so beautiful and it was fun while they did it. I would not want anyone but Linda to make my daughter and her bridal party look sensational. She was also very punctual and really did care about my daughter's special day.

Throughout the months of planning I wondered to myself if it made sense to pay for make-up. After we saw the results, my answer was a resounding YES!!!! Katie looked like a fairy-tale princess, and many people told my mom that she looked amazing (she's never really done much with make-up). Of course, friends said the same to me. Bryan (Katie's husband) said to me, "Mom, when I saw Kat coming down the aisle, she looked so beautiful. I was thrilled that she was going to become my wife."You and Ally did a fabulous job. You have my recommendation!

Linda and Ally were very friendly and professional - a plus when your hair and make-up takes several hours! I wasn't sure what I wanted to do with my hair or make-up, but when Linda was done I looked and felt like a princess! When I walked down the aisle, I took everyone's breath away - even strangers came up to me after the ceremony and told me they had never seen a more beautiful bride. And even though I looked like a million bucks, she was very resonable.

Linda and her team did mine and my bridesmaids hair/makeup for my 12/11/10 wedding and no words can describe how amazing Linda and her team were. Not only were they fun to be around they were also amazingly talented. I am beyond happy we chose a makeup team that came to us because sitting around in our hotel suite, enjoying our own food and drinks as we pleased - made the experience that more relaxing and special. Linda did my hair and makeup and both turned out perfectly. My hair was more elegant that I could have imagined and Linda knew exactly where to place my hair flowers. I was nervous about makeup because I don't normally wear a lot, but the way Linda does her makeup is with true skill - she makes you look stunning by using the perfect amount of makeup and in the right places to give you a natural yet beautiful look. She also went above and in beyond in other ways (thank you!!!) and I will be forever grateful for making the "getting ready" portion of my wedding day so memorable, enjoyable and relaxing. Linda thank you so much for doing our make-up for the wedding! Horatio recommended you and I can totally see why! All of the bridesmaids looked amazing (hair and makeup), my mom's hair and makeup was also awesome, and I looked SO AMAZING for my wedding day! Thank you for starting the day early with us (8:00 am), you and your assistant were on-time, and knew that it would be a drive so you booked a room at where we were getting married (awesome!). Everything thing went well, you even took the time to fix my mother-in-law's hair even though that wasn't in the contract. We did fall behind a little bit (I'm not quite sure how) and I had to rush myself into my dress and rush my mom and maid of honor into tying me up because we were late for the ceremony... but I looked AWESOME and so did all of my bridesmaids, maid of honors, and my mother :) Thank you and ask Horatio for photos to put on your website!!

These girls are AMAZING!!! They were so much fun and my hair and make-up was more than I could have asked for. We had a pretty windy day and my hair was still in full curls by the end of the night! I would recommend them to anyone. They were very perfessional but a fun time too. Thank you guys sooo much for your great service :)

AMAZING!!! Linda Shepard is my fairy godmother!! She made me and my girls look gorgeous!!! By the way...the makeup stayed on for more than 24 hours!! Thru the sweat of an August Wedding and thru all the happy tears (which there were ALOT) my make up stayed PERFECT! I woke up the next morning to leave for my honeymoon with my face completely in tact wedding day fresh! No touch up required!! I felt so comfortable having her in my home while gettin ready...we laughed (ALOT) and all around it was a wonderful experience to start off my fairytale wedding day! Thank you SOOOO very much Linda. You are the best!

Linda from A Victorian Bride was WONDERFUL! Coming from out of town my hair and make-up was the thing I was most nervous about. Linda made my me look better than I thought anyone could. It was flawless. She was very personable. I would suggest her to anyone. It was so nice to have her come to me on my wedding day and make me look beautiful. Everything lasted the entire day, even in 90+ degree weather. Thank you!!

Linda was more than amazing to work with! She was joyful and has a mastery way with all hair types and skin tones. She even helped me fix my horrible manicure from London Hair and Spa in St. Pete Beach, FL. She did not charge me for fixing it either.Her make-up is wonderful for the Florida heat. It will not come off no matter how much you sweat, sure thing! She gave my mother a complimentary make-up application and offered valuable information regarding hair and make-up.Linda would be the best person for any wedding.

A Victorian Bride did make-up only at my wedding.Linda was so sweet. She is a vendor who will be your friend! Linda and I met well before the wedding at a bridal show and we had a meeting shortly after. Her prices were very reasonable and I booked her right away! I cannot even tell you how many people said I was the most beautiful bride they had ever seen. I even had people tell me “if someone has said you are the most beautiful bride they’ve ever seen they are not exaggerating” My make-up was extraordinary! I’ve never felt prettier. And I have Linda to thank for that. She is the best in bridal make-up! During my make-up application I was hungry and Linda was even feeding me snacks during the process. Some of my girls were a bit finicky about having their make-up done and Linda had no problem adding a few girls to the list day of. They even touched up my flower girl so she would feel special. We had a bit of a time crunch (something unrelated to make-up) and my mother-in-law didn’t finish getting her make-up done before the ceremony. Linda had brought two additional artists with her for my wedding party and one of the ladies, also named Linda, stayed throughout the ceremony to finish my mother-in-laws make-up. She even touched up my lipstick before the dinner! Overall, I would recommend A Victorian Bride to anyone. I loved working with Linda and the truth of the matter is, my make-up looked incredible!!!

I was very pleased with how I looked on my wedding day. I had tons of compliments from people on how great my hair and makeup looked. Linda was attentive, and my bridesmaids were pleased as well. I would definitely recommend her to any bride.
