A Slice of Heaven Outrageously Inspired Custom Cakes

My cake was perfect! It looked beautiful and tasted wonderful. EVeryone at a slice of heaven was wonderful to work with, especially since I was planning my wedding from NJ.

All of our guests raved about our wedding cake! We used the Brides on a Budget wedding cake service from A Slice of Heaven. The beach themed cake was perfect for us, since our reception was in the sand. The marble cake with chocolate filling was delish. I highly recommend A Slice of Heaven to anyone who wants a delicious cake!

My cake was marble with chocolate mousse filling. It was so tasty, we got a ton of compliments on how great it was. I really would recommend this baker, and will use them again in the future for other events! :)

The cake for our wedding was done by Slice of Heaven, and it was delicious!! We had both the vanilla and the pina colada cake, and I got tons of compliments! We had a very specific look in mind, and it came out exactly how we wanted it! My only complaints are that the topper fell off the cake (I can't be sure who is to blame for that..the bakery or the staff at the venue) and also, that when I called to confirm delivery time the day before the wedding, I was told that I hadn't made my second payment, so they wouldn't deliver without payment in full over the phone. I was fine with it, since it was my mistake, but a phone call or an email would have been nice.

A Slice of Heaven did an absolutely FANTASTIC job for my niece's destination wedding. The "Edith and Archie Bunker" cake was a HUGE hit and the beach theme cake was absolutely stunning. The guests all raved how delicious the cakes tasted. The white chocolate chip with chocolate mousse and banana cream filling was like a party in my mouth! I totally recommend A Slice of Heaven!

The cake tasted AMAZING. After that though, my good review ends. We asked for a very specific cake, and it came out looking not like what I had wanted. It still looked okay, but not what I wanted. Also, they originally quoted me at over $300. I went to a few other places and got their quotes, and went back, and they lowered their price. I wish they had just given us the price in the first place. All in all, Im happy we went with them because the most important part is eating the cake, however it was not what I wanted at all look wise. Not to mention it completely fell apart, but that was after we already had the cake.

Hands down the BEST cake I have EVER had! My guests loved it also! We went with the Bride on A Budget Cake- seashells French Vanilla with European Raspberry Filling. It was so beautiful and was the perfect final touch to our beach wedding. I can't wait until our 1st anniversary to taste it again!

Overall we were very pleased with the outcome, we had a few issues but this was mainly due to trying to organise from the UK. We were initially advised by them to collect the cake ourselves as they seemed unhappy about delivering it?!? But after a final email to them the evening before the wedding they agreed to deliver it to us. The design of the cake was brilliant and looked amazing! It tasted great also we decided on a fench vanilla sponge with european rasberry filling and it tasted beautiful. Probably would have been a little easier to work with if we were living in the US.

Litteraly it was a slice of heaven! yummy! They were great to work with too. They helped me design the cake I wanted from a combination of pictures I found online, over the phone. I knew nothing about ordering cakes and they really helped me through the process. My family and I enjoyed the cake even the day after.

I got married on 3/26/11 and used A Slice of Heaven for my wedding cake. I'm so glad we chose them as our vendor. We had a beach design with seashells and sand. We got the raspberry filling and chocolate mousse as a layer and also key lime cake with key lime mousse. Both were a big hit. Many of the guests at the wedding went back for second and third slices of wedding cake. The buttercream icing is awesome as well. Thanks again!!

We LOVED 2/3rds of our wedding cake! Really, we did. The french vanilla with the raspberry filling (my husband's layer of the cake) was excellent! And the cake was pretty. The other 1/3rd tasted fine...but I was disappointed. We did key lime flavor, which I was really excited about. It wasn't on the tasting but there was a slice in the case they let us try it. Well, they had me back for a quick key lime tasting with one of my girlfriends...I thought it was great they were willing to do this. And we chose chocolate filling. On the wedding day...NO chocolate.I am of the type to provide feedback when needed and let them know when we got back form our HM. They did not know how to respond...as I am sure this does not happen often. They insisted the baker remembered putting chocolate in the cake and asked me if I had a picture. Well, I didn't at the time. Well it turns out I DO have a picture and yeah, no chocolate. I still gave them a good rating as everything else was fine and our guests enjoyed the cake. They were flexible by offering us a second key lime tasting and were quite accommodating. The slip up was not a major slip like getting the wrong cake entirely or giving us peanut butter filling. I've also had their cake at many other weddings and everything was perfect for them. The other reviews for them are very positive and I am sure this does not happen often. But in the end I was disappointed about my layer.

We ordered one of their "Brides on a Budget" cakes for our wedding in March. Absolutely beautiful and sooo delicious! Our wedding was at the beach, so we chose the cake with shells on it--- white cake with raspberry filling & vanilla icing. SO good.

A Slice of Heaven just did my cake for my March 11th wedding....It was ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!!!! I couldn't have gotten a better vendor for my cake. The cake itself was EXACTLY what I wanted and it tasted amazing. I highly recommend the French Vanilla Cake with the Raspberry Filling and the Chocolate Cake with the mousse filling! THANK YOU!

Sarasota Cakes makes some of the most delicious cakes ever. Their use of buttercream rather than fondent is not only awesome tasting but looks great as well. I provide a picture of a cake that I wanted to replicate and they did a fabulous job in recreating it!! Their artistry is second to none. They were even willing to deliver the cake to Tampa -- more than an hour away. Be sure to order the chocolate cake with the rasberry filling. It's outta this world!

My cake not only looked amazing, but was so good! My guests were amazed at how beautiful it was, and even more so how great it tasted!

So I like cake, and I have eaten my fair share of wedding cake. Our wedding cake from Slice of Heaven was THE BEST cake I have ever had! On top of that, we got so many complements on how pretty it was. They were super easy to work with. I think I made two phone calls...just to pick the style and flavors and pay the balance, they did all the rest. Don't think about going anywhere else!

Our Slice Of Heaven Brides On A Budget Cake was great and so tasty. We chose the vanilla cake with European raspberry filling. A Slice Of Heaven gave us the option to provide flowers for our cake but I could not decide whether I wanted to or not because I liked the simplicity the white cake with white icing dots. I waited until about an hour and a half before the ceremony to decide I wanted to add flowers and the gentlemen who delivered the cake came prepared and beautifully placed the flowers I brought. Our guests loved the cake and we will definitely order A Slice Of Heaven cake for our anniversaries.

We did not have a wedding cake, but used A Slice of Heaven for our grooms cake at the rehearsal dinner. It was a beautiful and delicious grooms cake!! WOW! Highly recommended!
